1. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges.
2. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50, PartsForYourCar.com will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.
3. PartsForYourCar.com will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at a PartsForYourCar.com online store while using the secure server.
4. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

If you intentionally commit credit card fraud on ANY of our sites, we WILL do everything within our means to catch you. We will expend the time, energy and legal resources necessary to track you down.

How PFYC handles fraud or attempted fraud

If PFYC suspects fraudulent activity on one its stores, we will:

• CONTACT THE REAL CREDIT CARD OWNER OF EACH ORDER. We are able to verify whether the person using the card is the actual card owner or not, and if not, we will track down the real card owner and notify him or her, and their card issuer, of the attempted fraud.
• INVESTIGATE all information completely and immediately. The proper local and federal authorities will be notified.

A Case Study

In Jacksonville, Florida, we worked with the local U.S. Postal Inspector and the Secret Service Task Force to identify a criminal, track him down and set-up a controlled sting operation. He was arrested and is expected to be indicted on Federal charges of mail fraud and credit card fraud.
