How to Pay for Your Products
We have three ways that you can pay for your products purchased on PFYC.com:
- Enter your credit card or gift certificate information online
- Fax in your order and credit card data
- Send your order to us via U.S. mail with a check or money order in U.S. dollars.
Enter Your Credit Card or Gift Certificate Data Online
Follow all order instructions online. Once you see a summary of your order on the screen, the system will ask you to select which credit card you will use to submit your payment. When you are done, select "Continue". On the next page, fill in your credit card number and expiration date information. Then click "Continue". At this time your data will be securely transferred to VeriSign, our secure credit card processor. No credit card information is ever sent over the Internet via unencrypted means so your data is always protected. Gift Certificates: once you see a summary of your order on the screen, the system will allow you to fill in store credit or special offer coupons. If you have a store credit from previous orders, we will have sent you a special code via e-mail, which you will enter in the gift certificate space in the order process. Enter the code (for credit, coupon or gift certificate) exactly as it is shown (capitalize as necessary), and click on "Redeem Coupon" (or "Redeem Gift Certificate" if it is a gift certificate) during checkout. If the code is valid, you will notice that the shopping cart has automatically subtracted the amount of the coupon or gift certificate from your total order, and the remainder will be charged to your credit card. If the gift certificate or store credit does not equal the total amount due, you must select a credit card to pay the difference. When you are done, select "Continue".
Send Your Order to Us via U.S. Mail
To order by mail, place your order online, follow all instructions until you see a summary of your order on the screen, which allows you to fill in your shipping and billing information. Print this page out, fill in your information (or type it in before printing) and fax it to us along with your check or money order drawn in U.S. dollars and sign the printed order. Agreement with the Terms and Conditions is implied when you mail in an order. There are no additional charges for ordering by mail, but mailed orders may take up to two weeks to process because we must deposit and wait for funds to clear the bank before issuing your gift certificate.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Our system verifies that your card is valid and that the billing information matches the name and number on the card then charges your card and finalizes your during checkout.
All credit card data is encrypted and securely transferred via the Internet to VeriSign, our secure credit card processor. Credit card information is never sent over the Internet via unencrypted means. When paying by check, money order or cashiers check, we will wait to receive your payment before we process your order. Please note that we cannot process checks or money orders drawn in foreign currencies. Please inquire with your bank about purchasing a money order or cashiers check drawn in U.S. dollars.
- Print out the order summary page that includes the total cost of your order, including the items ordered plus shipping costs.
- Checks should be made out to PartsForYourCar.com or PFYC.com and must be drawn in U.S. dollars.
- IMPORTANT: Make sure to include a valid e-mail address with your order.

- Upon receipt of your check, we will deposit it and wait for it to clear, and then we will e-mail you an electronic gift certificate code which you may use to place an online order for the items you wanted. The benefits of doing it this way rather than us placing the order for you are that you will then be able to obtain an order summary, an order number, and you may also then use online order tracking even for orders placed using money orders or checks.
Gift Certificates, Store Credit and other Special Coupons
PFYC.com accepts store credit, special offer coupons, and gift certificates for our online stores only. When ordering, you will need to know the electronic coupon or gift certificate code. We will e-mail this code to you in the event of a Store credit, or it may be posted on the "What's New?" page in the case of a special promotion that we are running. About Sales Tax
Because PartsForYourCar.com is incorporated in the state of Washington, we must collect and report sales tax in the amount of 9.00% of your purchase if your products are shipped to the state of Washington. If your order ships outside of the state of Washington, you pay no sales tax on your order.
We may be required in the future to collect sales tax in every state that requires it. Please watch for updates to this policy.
Receipts and Records
After you go through our secure online payment system, you will see on the screen an invoice page that details your order. This receipt shows your order information, including a summary of what you ordered and product choices, your billing and shipping addresses, name and order number. Credit card information is never sent over the Internet via unencrypted means, so your data is protected. We recommend you print this page as your receipt, but please note that you also will receive two other proofs of purchase e-mailed to you within minutes of your order, as long as you correctly specified your e-mail address. If you notice that you mistyped your e-mail address once you get to the invoice screen, simply e-mail us and ask us for a copy of your receipt. If you do not receive a receipt via e-mail, your order was not completed, and you must contact us as soon as possible to minimize any delays. Please note that if you do not specify a valid e-mail address, your order receipt will not arrive, and your order may be significantly delayed. Note to AOL users: Your full Internet e-mail address is required, i.e.: SCREEN_NAME@aol.com.
Frequently Asked Questions on Ordering, Payment and Billing
1Q. How will you bill me?
1A. All transactions are verified in real-time when you press the final "Order" button. You are billed immediately, even though in some cases products will not ship immediately due to back order or normal delays. Next to every product photo and description will be product availability information, telling you whether that product is in stock or when we expect to have it in stock.
2Q. What is your pricing policy?

3Q. What forms of currency do you accept?
3A. When you use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card, the currency is automatically converted to U.S. dollars (if you are Canadian, for example). All prices shown on PFYC.com are quoted in U.S. dollars. If ordering via check or money order, please make sure that the funds are drawn in U.S. dollars. We can not accept any checks or money orders in foreign currency.
4Q. What if I need to cancel an order?
4A. Please notify us immediately. However, if the order has already shipped, it is your responsibility to accept the charges for it. Be sure you really want what you are ordering before pressing the final "Submit" button. If your order is cancelled before shipping you are still subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
5Q. How do I use an electronic coupon or gift certificate in the Store?
5A. First you will need to know the electronic coupon or gift certificate code. We will e-mail this code to you in the event of a Store credit, or it may be posted on the "What's New?" page in the case of a special promotion that we are running. In either case, enter the coupon or gift certificate code exactly as it is shown (capitalize as necessary), and click on "Redeem Coupon" (or "Redeem Gift Certificate" if it is a gift certificate) during checkout.
