Super EASY installation
1. Replacing Rear Center High Mounted Stop Light (CHMSL)
Tools Required:
1. 10mm socket/wrench.
2. 15mm torx-bit with driver.
Step 1: Remove the inboard two tails (1 on either side of the CHMSL)
with the torx driver (1 screw holds each light to the fascia)
Step 2: Remove 10mm nuts (4 - total) that secure the CHMSL to the fascia.
You can access 2 nuts from each opening on either side of the CHMSL.
Step 3: Unplug the electrical connector from the CHMSL (lift up on the
tab and unseat the connector) prior to lifting the CHMSL off of the fascia.
Step 4: Gently lift the CHMSL off of the fascia.
Step 5: Install the "Brite Ideas" CHMSL and follow steps 3 through 1.
