Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Enhancer - 99-05 Grand Am, Alero -

The Throttle Position Sensor Enhancer maintains maximum horsepower by optimizing the throttle signal sent to the PCM. At about 70% throttle, the TPS Enhancer locks into maximum voltage which assures maximum power enrichment meaning once you hit 70% throttle it tells your car's computer that you're at 100% throttle. This should help initial acceleration by providing more fuel to the engine when you first accelerate hard. This unit also corrects for dead spots or flat spots in the throttle position sensor. Simple 5 second plug-in installation.

NOTE: This unit fits almost all GM engines including all years of 3.1L and 3.4L vehicles. It fits on all GM engines with a small, round, TPS connector except supercharged engines, LT1, and LS1 engines.

This is a well worth buying product. For something that took 2 seconds to install this gave an incredible boost in acceleration as well as keeping a smooth and steady idle. The TPSE is a must have for any Grand Am/Alero enthusiast.

wow is really all i have to say. I just got done driving my car after i put it on and wow. it is still winter here and the streets are plowed but wow i couldn't get traction from a stand still when i floored it or even from a rolling start. just can't wait to see what it is like with my new cold air intake.

If you are looking for something that is very easy to install and gives you an instant noticeable difference this is the product for you. I definitely feel the faster acceleration especially from a standstill as well as in the lower rpms for increased passing power.
