Locking Gas Caps

Prevent vandalism and gas theft with a locking gas or fuel cap from CST. Gas prices are already high enough - you don't want someone stealing your precious fuel. CST locking fuel caps are nearly impossible remove without the appropriate key. These fuel caps can also be used as a regular fuel cap, locking the cap only when needed. All caps are manufactured and designed to meet or exceed original equipment specification and are independently tested and have passed all US government standards for crash impact integrity. They will also satisfy the IM240 emission standard that is required in some states.

Ordering Options

Standard Gas Cap: Pressure will be vented when cap is removed.

Key Vent: Pressure will be vented when key is inserted. This is considered a premium feature.

Installation and Removal Instructions

TO INSTALL: Insert cap and rotate RIGHT (clockwise) until top of cap �clicks�. Hold cap top and insert key. Rotate key to RIGHT 1/2 turn. Remove key. When locked, top of cap will spin freely.

TO REMOVE: Hold cap top and insert key. Rotate key to LEFT (counter clockwise) 1/2 turn. Remove key. Cap can now be rotated LEFT to remove.
