On the manual version, a simple one hand motion is all you need to retract and stow the license plate or to pull it out and allow it to swing up into the display position.

On the motorized version, we offer an even easier solution - simply press the button on the included remote control and the Show N Go will move the plate into position automatically. The transport mechanism included with this kit uses a stainless steel torsion spring that keeps the mount in the stored position and also allows it to move into the displayed position. Q How can I tell if this will fit my vehicle?

A It is a universal fit application. We've had many different vehicle owners purchase and install this kit. Q Does the remote version have less ground clearance than the manual version?

A The remote version has the same clearance as the manual version however both versions will reduce ground clearance so you'll have to be careful.

Q Does it have to mount underneath the front of the car? My car is pretty low and its already tough getting into my driveway.

A While the installation instructions show it mounting underneath the front of the car, we've had customers do different custom installations into the grill or front fascia of their car. Your imagination is your only limitation.

Q If I buy the manual version now, can I buy an upgrade kit to make it a remote version later on?

A As it turns out, there is no upgrade to convert a manual version to a remote version. This is one of the biggest requests we get because many people like it so much, they wish they had bought the remote version. If you think you'd eventually want the remote version, consider getting it now.
