The one over-riding benefit inherent to the CG-Lock and to all drivers listed above is its ability to keep drivers and occupants firmly planted in their seat in most all driving situations. Whether you fit into one of the specific categories listed or not, there are some of overall benefits for most all drivers and passengers a like.

How does it work?

Quite simply,   the CG-Lock attaches to the tongue of your existing seat belt. Once installed, pulling up on the shoulder harness tightens the lap belt portion - keeping it at the desired tightness until you release it. The shoulder harness however remains unrestrained as normal for maximum arm and upper body movements.

By providing you with 80% of the holding power of a full racing harness, the CG-Lock prevents you from sliding back and forth in your seat. Less movement means you can keep your feet and hands light on the pedals and wheel resulting in better control, faster reactions and less fatigue. Becoming "one with the vehicle" helps you feel the road and the car's "balance", enhancing your driving abilities.

A slight tightening of the lap belt reduces slouching and adds comfort for long trips or truck drivers. Greater amounts of tightening will increase driver and occupant control in more aggressive track, emergency or rigorous off road and military situations.

While the CG-Lock is NOT SOLD AS A SAFETY DEVICE, it has been designed and tested not to interfere with the safety of your seat belt. Read all safety and installation instructions before using.

The CG-Lock is small and unobtrusive. It will fit in the palm of your hand! Approximate size of the CG-Lock ( 1" H x 2 5/16" L x 2 15/16" W). Approximate weight 3.0 ounces.

The CG-Lock is made of stainless steel and has a polished finish.

The CG-Lock will only work on seat belts that look like the one in the picture. As an example of cars it will not work with, it will not work on the seat belts in the Corvette or Z06.
