Engine Oil Breather Filter - 3800, LS1, LS6 -

A nice finishing touch appearance part that is used on bayonet-type mounts
found on the LS1 and 3800 GM engines. Made of billet aluminum, complete with
breather filter.
APPLICATIONS
- 3.8L GM Engines
- LS1/LS6 GM Engines
NOTE: Make sure to test fit everything first before closing the hood. If there are clearance problems, stop and find out why. On Corvettes, for example, you'll need to remove the black plastic filler neck that the oil cap goes on before installing this unit, and the valve covers may not fit over the top of the breather once installed.

I put this on my 2004 Grand Prix GT2 and it gives a nice finished look to the motor area. I like to keep my engine very clean, so I recommend keeping your old oil cap and taking the oil breather filter off and use the cap when spraying off the engine.
