• Made from double-sided AR Polycarbonate This very durable acrylic type material is also scratch resistant. Others are made out of much cheaper materials and dangerously breakable plastics. Some are Lexan: the disadvantage is that it scratches easily and won't emit illumination and may also discolor with etching.

Version Options: Version 1 mounts with 4 screws on the back side of the rear panel. No drilling necessary. We suggest removing this version if you are leaving your top up for extended periods of time. 1/8" thick. Version 2 mounts above waterfall compartment with dual-lock fasteners. Can be left in place with top up. No drilling necessary. Mounting points are hidden when installed. 1/4" thick.

Brake Light Module: You can install this option in your console "waterfall compartment" or in your trunk on your rear panel. It has 2 knobs on it. The first knob controls the Running light intensity. You can use this knob as a dimmer to adjust the illumination while you are driving with your running lights or headlights on. The 2nd knob controls the brake light intensity. Adjust this knob if you want the screen to illuminate when you apply your brakes.

Here are the illumination options with this module:

• Turn on only with the head lights
• Turn on only with the brake lights
• Produce a certain illumination while driving (such as 50% intensity) and then produce a brighter glow when you apply the brakes.
• Turn off completely.
