Our trunk partitions are perfectly designed to separate the trunk area from the cabin space. It allows you to actually utilize the space directly behind the seats for small items and place items in the trunk area that will not slide up into the cabin area. As a side benefit (but large reason many people get a partition), it also cuts down on exhaust noise significantly and improves stereo sound (significantly). By separating out the exhaust noise and reducing the actual cabin stereo space, you will realize a much clearer sounding stereo system. The partition is also great for long drives as it reduces exhaust drone.
