Useful applications
A. 9" Cone Filter with 4" flange diameter is the filter you'll want to
use if you're purchasing our Installation Kit (for use with 3800 Series II engines-link
at right of this page) or if you're building a custom intake using 4" diameter intake
tract.
B. 9" Cone Filter with 3.5" flange diameter is the filter you'll want
if you are building a custom intake using a 3.5" intake tract. It is also the same
filter that comes with the Thrasher Cold Air Induction (for 3800 Series II engines)
for those that want to replace the filter that came with their Thrasher CAI. This
filter works well with the Speedbuilt™ Fenderwell Intake Kit sold separately.
D. 5-1/4x8-1/2x5-1/2" Oval Tapered is an excellent choice if you are building
a custom intake using a 3.5" intake tract. It is also used on 1997-2000 Corvette
LS1. This is the filter of choice for the Speedbuilt™ Fenderwell Intake Kit sold
separately.
