|
Designed to maximize torque, acceleration and throttle response while providing excellent high RPM horsepower, our Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft have the Xtreme Energy characteristics with the added technology of CRC (Constant Radius of Curvature) inverted radius of curvature ramps. Comp Cams has enhanced this technique to ensure durability with these most aggressive hydraulic roller cams. If you're looking for added performance from your valvetrain, a Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft will give you the performance you're looking for. Below are the specs of each cam for your viewing pleasure. L67 Cam 1 Lobe Specs - 200 degree/212 degree at .050

- Exhaust Lift .325 (.520 lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- 115 Lobe Separation
L67 Cam 2 Lobe Specs- 206 degree/218 degree at .050
- Intake Lift .320 (.512 lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- Exhaust Lift .330 (.528 lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)

Look for pushrods and valvesprings elsewhere in the Under the Hood category. See above for installation tip and dyno results.
NOTE: We do not accept returns or exchanges on camshafts. If there is a defect or problem, we will of course take care of it, but we cannot accept returns on these.
Installation Tip Instead of pulling the engine, simply drop the passenger side of the engine cradle about 5 for easy access to the camshaft. Click picture for larger image. Dyno Reults from Cam 1
The car is our 2002 Grand Prix GTP with only 740 miles on the odometer (we've since put over 15,000 additional miles on it). The only horsepower modifications at the time are exhaust components. The car still has the factory supercharger pulley and factory airbox including paper filter. The only thing we changed was the cam, all other valvetrain components remained stock. We saw a gain of 22.5hp and 24.5lb-ft. of torque at the wheels which equates to about 28hp and 30 lb-ft. of torque at the crank, a substantial increase of over 10%. As one might expect with a gain of this magnitude, there is a VERY noticeable difference in the performance of the car.
