If you've installed our Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft or
if you've installed higher ratio rocker arms, it's recommended that you consider
the dynamics of the rest of your valvetrain. The higher lift of a performance camshaft
or higher ratio rocker arms creates the need for a higher spring pressure. Comp
Cams comes through again with the right stuff. This package includes springs
with the following specs:
- Installed Load: 105 lbs at 1.800
- Open Load: 293 lbs at 1.200
- Spring Rate: 313 lbs/in
- Coil Bind Height: 1.085
- Outside Diameter: 1.290/1.060
- Inside Diameter: .885/.656
- Optional: Retainer: TI 772/Steel 774
Add a full set of Hi-Tech Pushrods by selecting below. One piece design made
of high quality seamless 4130 chromoly (NASCAR quality wall thickness - .080). These
pushrods are heat treated to a hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C scale for even more
strength and are finished in black oxide. 7.050 long with a 5/16 ball type end.
