When it comes to late model performance parts, nothing beats bolt-on and direct connection components. Especially when they improve performance with a hotter spark like these new MSD Blaster Coils. These new bolt-in coils are designed with improved materials and windings to produce a stronger spark. This improved spark helps burn the fuel mixture more efficiently resulting in a smooth idle and improved mid range rpm power. MSD is pleased to offer these performance coils for your late model GM vehicle. They look great in MSD red and will connect to the factory wiring. Specifications:
- Primary Resistance: 0.35 ohms
- Secondary Resistance: 7.8K ohms
- Maximum Voltage: 40,000 volts
- Inductance: 4.2 mH
- Turns Ratio: 80:1
Note: A quantity of one will get you a complete set of 3 coils. Fits late model GM vehicles from the mid 1980s through the early 2000s using a 2-tower coil pack as shown. MSD part number 8224.

I bought these coils about a week ago and wow they're amazing. First of all it takes literally 5 minutes to install and you can actually feel the power at mid range. Excellent product..although it may be a little bit too pricey.

I added the MSD coils, MSD wires and NGK plugs, and wow what a difference. Besides looking nice under the hood, the power was noticeable as well. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to not only gain a little more power, but also if your looking to clean up the engine bay.

These work great with the MSD wires and NGK Iridium plugs. I noticed a huge difference right away and they really look great but honestly I'm lookin for the power before the looks :)

I installed these MSD ignition coils along with some PRJ performance wires and Autolite extreme performance iridium plugs. This gives it a nice little pep and also looks great.

These MSD ignition coils are great! They add a smoother idle and acceleration. They also look beautiful in the engine compartment matched with the red MSD 8.5mm wires.
