KYB GR-2 Struts - W-body -

You may notice some deterioration of your ride quality after as little as 10,000 miles. At 30,000 miles, the ride quality has probably gone sharply downhill. If you're in need of new struts for your car, you'll be glad to know that KYB has produced a factory replacement strut that exceeds the quality of OEM struts and comes at a lower price. Offering dampening characteristics 10-15% greater than that of the factory struts, you'll find the KYB GR-2 an excellent choice for replacement of your factory struts.

If you're looking for something that's going to help with the pogo effect caused by aftermarket performance springs, these do not have the dampening characteristics to resolve that issue. They are great factory replacements to worn struts but the only thing that's going to help with the pogo effect caused by aftermarket performance springs is a performance strut with dampening characteristics matched to the performance springs. The only thing currently available for this is the AGX Sport Adjustable Struts package offered in the Related Products link below.

I bought these to replace the stock struts on my '97 GT. The old ones had 150,000+ miles on them and the difference after install was night and day. It's like driving a new car again! The old struts were very worn. I've used the KYB GR2 on my grand am with eibach springs as well for about 20k and they've held up great! They aren't stiffer than stock, but they are made with quality parts and are nitrogen gas charged, so they last longer and give more consistent dampening than stock. I highly recommend them.
