The covers are held in position with provided double-sided tape. The covers measure approximately 1-3/8 inch x 5 inch x 1/2 inch and 1-3/4 inch x 2 inch x 2 inch. these parts are good looking but a little tricky to install and I suggest you take a practice run before you get the tape ready to install to see how they will line up. They do not line up even and this is NOT MENTIONED in the instructions so that is why I say to do it dry run first and then finally I added a piece of tape in between the two to hold them together as I think it looks better
