Changing the gauge face may be required to get a brighter light. For example a blue LED light will not light up through a red gauge face. Kit A: 25 surface mount LEDs (requires soldering)
Kit B: 6 twist in/out LEDs with 1/2 inch base (plug and play)
Kit C: 4 twist in/out LEDs with 1/2 inch base and 2 with 3/8 inch base (plug and play)
Kit D: 7 twist in/out LEDs with 3/8 inch base (plug and play)
Kit E: 10 surface mount cube LEDs (requires soldering)
Kit F: 25 surface mount LEDs (requires soldering)

This can be an easy upgrade for your speedometer. Some are as easy as a twist in / twist out bulb swap. Replace your old bulbs with the latest LED technology and never replace them again. These LED are capable of lasting between 25,000 and 100,000 hours of use. Replace them once, then never again.

Technical Information

Each new LED is ready to install: no additional modifications will be required to the LED or circuit board. You will need to remove the stock light bulb as shown in the install guide that will come with your kit. Some LEDs that are designed to mount to the board and will need to be soldered into it place. The manufacturer has designed step by step install guides to assist with the installation. Tech support and installation service is also available.

A note regarding color changes: Changing the color of the LED may or may not give you the desired night color you are looking for. A change of the gauge face may be required.
