Throttle Position Sensor TPS Enhancer GM engines

The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Enhancer maintains maximum horsepower by optimizing the throttle signal sent to the PCM. At about 70% throttle, the TPS Enhancer locks into maximum voltage which assures maximum power enrichment meaning once you hit 70% throttle it tells your car's computer that you're at 100% throttle. This should help initial acceleration by providing more fuel to the engine when you first accelerate hard. This unit also corrects for dead spots or flat spots in the throttle position sensor. Simple 5 second plug-in installation.

Fits on all GM engines with a small, round, TPS connector including LT1 and LS1 engines.

Q: Explain a bit further what this does for me. Will I get any gains in the 1/4 mile or any extra horsepower?

A: While the reasoning behind this unit is horsepower, we cannot guarantee a horsepower gain or a 1/4 mile gain with it. The real benefit is when racing or driving at full throttle, you can first go to 100% throttle, and, by knowing your car may be detonating at its peak, you can let up on the throttle a bit but still maintain WOT fueling. Since you've let up on the pedal, less air is coming in, but the same fuel is being injected into the cylinders, thereby causing your mixture to be a bit richer than usual and killing any detonation. By killing the detonation, you've just kept the PCM from removing spark timing and have stayed at your peak power without losing timing.
