With stock Camaro exhaust systems, there’s good news and bad news. Let’s look at the good news first: a factory-installed Camaro exhaust system is superior to about 95% of all other cars on the road. Camaro exhaust systems (catback, axeback, etc.) provide a nice power and torque boost, and generally feature deep, impressive sound.
The bad news? 95% of Camaro owners aren’t satisfied with simply being “superior.” It’s just not enough. Superior simply won’t cut it. And for a good portion of Camaro enthusiasts, one of the best ways to get the best sound and better performance is with a muffler delete.
