Fender Screen Installation

These photos are taken with the wheels off so you can get a better view of the panels, it is not necessary to remove the wheels. With a 7mm socket wrench remove the panel from the inner fender. There you will find 2 more 7mm screws that hold in the inside cowl plastic. After you remove this piece clean the inner fender around the cowl vent and then go over the same area with some rubbing alcohol to insure there is no dirt or grease.

The screens are labeled left and right. Before removing the the red plastic on the 3M tape fit the screen in place so you know right where it is going to install. I say this because if you go in blind with the tape ready to stick and you make a mistake the tape is very hard to save if you have to remove it.

When you are ready remove the red plastic from the tape and at the same time press the acrylic block that is on the screen and from the outside press on the fender where the block is. Then take 3 of the small acrylic strips  remove the red plastic from the tape and  place them as shown (bottom left) to keep the screen pressed up to the the small edge of the vent.
