Product Description

Choose from manual or remote controlled (motorized) version. The Show N Go retractable license plate frame is an innovative product that allows you to hide your front license plate away when you want, and show it when you need to.

On the manual version, a simple one hand motion is all you need to retract and stow the license plate or to pull it out and allow it to swing up into the display position.

On the motorized version, we offer an even easier solution - simply press the button on the included remote control and the Show N Go will move the plate into position automatically. The transport mechanism included with this kit uses a stainless steel torsion spring that keeps the mount in the stored position and also allows it to move into the displayed position. Go from hidden to shown in seconds.

  • Enhances vehicle aesthetics in the displayed or stowed position

Q How can I tell if this will fit my vehicle?

A It is a universal fit application. We've had many different vehicle owners purchase and install this kit. The best thing to do to get a feel for the fit and installation for your vehicle is to click the Installation Instructions link above and take a look at how it is installed. This will give you a good idea of what to expect and how it will fit your specific vehicle.

Q Does the remote version have less ground clearance than the manual version?

A The remote version has the same clearance as the manual version however both versions will reduce ground clearance so you'll have to be careful.

Q Does it have to mount underneath the front of the car? My car is pretty low and its already tough getting into my driveway.

A While the installation instructions show it mounting underneath the front of the car, we've had customers do different custom installations into the grill or front fascia of their car. Your imagination is your only limitation.

Q If I buy the manual version now, can I buy an upgrade kit to make it a remote version later on?

A As it turns out, there is no upgrade to convert a manual version to a remote version. This is one of the biggest requests we get because many people like it so much, they wish they had bought the remote version. If you think you'd eventually want the remote version, consider getting it now.

I bought the manual version of this retractable license plate frame. I installed it on the lower lip of my 2016 Silverado and didn't have to drill any holes to do so. I was able to use the screws that hold the truck's lower bumper trim to attach the stainless steel bar that was supplied with the kit. I had to cut the bar into 2 short pieces and bend them to an appropriate angle to meet with the holes of the plate bracket. I then grabbed 2 short screws, 2 washers, and 2 nuts then attach the sliding bracket to the stainless bars. The only downside was that I couldn't place the plate bracket as far back as I wanted to keep everything hidden. If I placed it too far back the license plate while in the up position would be at a very seep angle pointing towards the ground. But I still think my Silverado looks a lot better than the stock plate bracket.

Its a quick and very easy install if you own and can use a few simple hand tools. Drill 3 small holes and insert three small screws and you have a custom looking job all complete. It works and looks great on my 2006 GTO! They provide very clear instructions (with pictures).

Reviewer: Bob (RapidCity, SD)
As we all know, license plates are an ugly scar on the face of a Corvette. For those of you who live in civilization where a license plate is not required on the front of a vehicle, well, good for you! For the rest of us, a way of hiding our plate is the next best thing. This item works perfectly and is well worth the cost. Besides, one more toy to play with. In fact, it looks so good, that I traded in my Vette for another one after I put it on, because my dealer offered me a great price in trade. So, I guess it did end up being kind of expensive.
