Q How can I tell if this will fit my vehicle?
A It is a universal fit application. We've had many different vehicle owners purchase and install this kit. This will give you a good idea of what to expect and how it will fit your specific vehicle.
Q Does this reduce ground clearance?
A Yes, it will reduce ground clearance so you'll have to be careful.
Q Does it have to mount underneath the front of the car? My car is pretty low and its already tough getting into my driveway.
A While the installation instructions show it mounting underneath the front of the car, we've had customers do custom installations into the grille or front fascia of their car (an example is shown below). Your imagination is your only limitation.

I like the overall theory although the motor is not quite strong enough .

I Open the box and one of the cables that operates the movement was disconnected. Cable was a little bent up. Took me awhile to figure out the right stringing of cable and tightening of length. I have a 2017 Camaro ss. Had to put shims of rubber sheeting between car and product to level out and clearance. Bought longer screws to use rubber plug nuts. Velcro to hold the remote radio receiver. With some minor adjustments to cable working good so far. Had on for 2 weeks , I don't drive car everyday. If you buy this product you need some patience. Special if you had to go through what I did. I like it so far. I would like it better if it would have a longer track so it would go under car more.

This is my second one from you. I kind of bent my frist one up, it lost a battle with a snow bank, Lol. So, I had a gift card to Car id, so I found the sto n go on thier site, problem was it was over $300 for the exact same as yours. I spoke with them and because thier supplier changed the p/n and name, they said they were different parts. Funny thing was the itemmdesctiption was exactly like yours. So you gained a lifetime customer and they lost one forever.

As we all know, license plates are an ugly scar on the face of a Corvette. For those of you who live in civilization where a license plate is not required on the front of a vehicle, well, good for you! For the rest of us, a way of hiding our plate is the next best thing. This item works perfectly and is well worth the cost. Besides, one more toy to play with. In fact, it looks so good, that I traded in my Vette for another one after I put it on, because my dealer offered me a great price in trade. So, I guess it did end up being kind of expensive.

This solved my problem regarding having to have a front license plate on my 2001 Corvette. Now I can use the blank that finishes off the front of the car, and still have a license plate to be legal.
