As with most convertibles, once you drop the top you really lose some of that character, some of the body lines that the 5th Generation Camaro is known for. The great thing about the 5th Generation Camaro Convertible Sport Bar is that you can really get the entire look and feel back.

With quality in mind, this bar is constructed of a sturdy 1.25 inch round steel tube with a 1/8 inch wall thickness and weighs a solid 18 pounds.
One question we get asked from many customers is if they can still raise and lower their convertible top. Yes. You maintain a little over 3/4″ of clearance with this bar in place. Your convertible top will have full range of motion. Nothing will be changed with how your top is raised or lowered.
Installation is not difficult but does take patience. Most back yard mechanics or just 5th Generation Camaro fans can figure roughly two hours to install this bar. We do have a nice installation YouTube video available here.
