On our Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood, note the shapes and lines of the cowl follow the original design of the factory hood, adding to the aggressiveness while retaining a consistent appearance. The location and shape of the intake scoop is carefully placed, lining up with the lines of the fender and front fascia. The upper leading edge of the scoop includes a design element found along the leading edges of the front fascia. These are just a few of the subtle details that sets it apart. The Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood conforms as a natural part of an already incredible automotive design, not as an afterthought.
The Sinister Camaro components are born from the belief that function and form should integrate seamlessly with the elements of design already present. Each line, radius and element of the Sinister Camaro components has been carefully crafted to enhance what the original design engineers sculpted.
The Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood offers functional flow to the air intake along with functional heat extraction from the engine bay. Utilizing the factory windshield washer assembly, hinges and hood strut, the Sinister Camaro Ram Air Hood is ready for prep and paint and uses the factory latch and bump stops. The included front grill is removable and the hood is designed to accommodate other custom or aftermarket grills as they may become available.

The hood fits great with a couple of notes:
1) the passenger side windshield wiper cannot be flipped up for windshield cleaning
2) The passenger side of the hood is slightly raised from the drivers side due to the hood strut
3) The air inlet opening is for a stock airbox. It does not feed directly to an aftermarket air box such as a Vararam. I wish there had been a picture of the inside of the hood on the website.
4) It took just two hours for the body shop to install it (Carbon fiber - no paint)
5) It looks great and turns heads

the hood fit great but it cost me $960 to paint it and re do some small fiber glass dents that are hard to see when you pick it up.You only see them when put under a good body mans lights.

I really had my doubts about this job being very easy. We've never had a hood fit as well as this one has. It was literally just bolt on and adjust to fit. The finish on the hood was very nice and left very little to be done prior to painting. I found no blemishes in the hood at all. I am very satisfied with this product.

Outstanding product. The hood was flawless before paint, almost decided to just clearcoat it and leave it Black. But had to keep with my theme so we painted it and it came out flawless. Excellent fit (OEM type fit).Excellent quality.

RESIDENTIAL SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE - no exceptions. Shipping address must be a business address. You MUST include the business name in the Company field during checkout. Shipping is by freight company. Canadian customers are still responsible for taxes, duties and brokerage fees upon delivery. If you live more than 20 miles outside of a major metropolitan area, shipping charges may be more. If they are more than what you paid during checkout, we will notify you before shipment with the option to pay the additional charge or cancel the order for a full refund. If you'd like a solid quote prior to placing your order, please contact us with your address, zip code and product you are ordering.
Please check the product for damage carefully prior to accepting the package from the delivery service. If anything is damaged, document the damage, take photos and REFUSE delivery. Alert us immediately with details of the damage and photos. IF THE PACKAGE IS SIGNED FOR AND DAMAGED IS FOUND AFTER IT HAS BEEN SIGNED FOR, YOU HAVE WAIVED ALL RIGHTS TO DAMAGE CLAIMS.
Test fit parts immediately. All parts have been inspected and test fit prior to shipment. If your body shop can not get the part to fit correctly, contact us immediately. Photos of any fit problems must be emailed to us for evaluation. Include the body shop's phone number so we may offer technical support to the body shop if necessary. We may require you to have a different body shop install the parts at our discretion if we feel a second opinion is needed. Any claims for fit problems must be brought to our attention within 3 business days of receiving the part.
Any claims for defects in fit or finish made after prep work has started on the part will not be honored. This means if your shop takes it upon themselves to fix any issues without prior approval, we will not reimburse for any related expenses nor will the manufacturer honor any defect or fitment claims so make sure test fitting is done prior to any work being started.
Part warranty is 1 year from date of purchase against manufacturer's defects or workmanship. Warranty is for part replacement only.
